Additionally, because so much stripper was used, it made the wood extremely soft, so when any type of chisel or sander that was applied, would cut deeply into the wood… It was literally a nightmare!

@Scott Weaner, depending on the company doing the imaging, it could range from wanting to replace the pipe at a cost of $3500-$5000 to just a cleaning to root removal which will be a few hundred $$.There was one company in our neck of with woods which has bright trucks (PM me for name if you want), who tried to replace the pipe and use strong sales tactics.

Expect to pay a slight premium for the rate, it is normally designed as an ARM loan with a 20-25yr. amort schedule, some offer a non-recourse for an additional 500-1000 basis points.
