Might be a good way to diversify away from the Oil dictated markets while still only being a few hours away in the mountains.

Great for summer time camping, white water rafting, hiking, fishing multiple lakes, and ATV.Winter comes around and you have WildCat, Bretton woods, Waterville, Loon, Pats peak all of these are ski/snow board, tubing mountains, Great shops in the town along with great food, bars and annual events.

I also agree that most newbies (myself included) are really leery of snake oil.

A lot of companies that are mom and pop in the surrounding oil and gas industry hire illegals simply because they are hard workers and don’t complain.

Gas and oil or agricultural investment might give me tax benefit but it looks risky.

There's a saying about teaching a man to fish...As with everything in this field - The first time you do something new, you should devote yourself to learning it.
