Get started no matter what.My prediction (because non of us truly know) is that we are going to have some great years a head of us.

Organized: they should have the processes in place to handle most anything on their own, reports should show up monthly automatically and anything far from the norm should have a heads up given. 

Please do not try to chop my head off.

There isn't much traffic over head but still.want to make it as peaceful as possible.

If you figure $20K for land you'll depreciate $60K over the next 27.5 years which puts you at $2,100 a year you can write off as a "loss" (assuming you itemize which should be a given for any RE investor)  I agree that this looks like a minimal cash flow property with some risk, but if you want to build equity and know it will rent you will at least keep your head above water on it.

And there are much, much lower transactional costs associated with stocks relative to Real Estate.I'm sure some of you have poked around various stock or option trading sites, and it left your head spinning amidst a confusing sea of acronyms and unfamiliar terminology, with at least a modest air of "get rick quick" schemes.

I'm trying to get this info from property management companies but just wanted to see if I can get an answer here - I'm looking at a 20 unit in atlanta - 30314 and was wondering if anyone investing in that area could give me a heads up on the Cap Rate there?

I'm trying really hard to get my head wrapped around all the ways a particular real estate deal can be financed and my pea brain is struggling.
