Yes, you have more than one option: You could definitely look for private money, but if you are planning on keeping it as a STR, you might want to make them your partners in the deal.

When dealing with service providers, you can easily be shocked if you did not discuss pricing upfront, and even if you did you could easily be shocked - LOL.What you needed was a letter of engagement spelling out the fees that will or may be incurred - in detail.

I even have a mixed use property I’d like to throw in if any lenders can get that creative, but that one’s not a deal breaker.I currently use several DSCR lenders for my BRRRR’s, but the 2 main issues I’m running into on this portfolio are: 1) unable to finance the rural properties, and 2) unable to finance the mixed use.Thanks!!!
