I think we're going to go with the gift certificate idea... feels fitting during the holiday season and also appropriate given the amount of time she scheduled around being home to let workers in the house, etc.

We would take care of scheduling services available for the needed date even for same-day or weekend visits. 

This also keeps you on schedule to inspect at least once a year before offering a renewal.

I found a property that is scheduled to go up for auction on Tuesday 11/22/22.

We have had lots of "inquiries" from Zillow, but none that have followed through with answering questions or truly scheduling a showing or anything like that.

There are existing bookings scheduled shortly after our closing date and it won't be feasible to complete the necessary work prior to relisting if we attempt to honor the existing bookings.

Furthermore, I would also suggest scheduling a structural engineer to assess the frame and foundation of the property.

I would hold optimism into the holidays, every buyer that schedules a tour is a serious buyer now, worth pursuing.

I am always trying to find more contractors because they are so busy right now it's not always guaranteed that I, or my clients, can get on their schedule within a reasonable time.
