I'd like to keep my mother's room locked and still have the option of staying in that room for 2-4 weeks during the school year (while the tenant is also in the house) and for a few weeks during the summer (when the tenant lives elsewhere). 

I’d love to hear your insights to help guide newer investors like myself and others in the community.

I like to hand-deliver it and set an appointment for my first inspection so I can start documenting the condition of the rental from that point forward.

The reason I ask is that I'm sure there are other markets, like Pittsburgh, that are close enough that you could do a quick weekend trip to check in but are more financially advantageous.

@Dozar Real - I agree, a unit like this will not rent for the price of the additional bedroom.

Additional insured is more about extending liability coverage to a third party like a property manager.

Lead magnets like property search tools, home valuation calculators, or free guides.

It’s listed for sale on all the home sites(Trulia, har, Zillow etc) If anyone has time to go take a look at it and based off what you see in the pictures and give me thoughts and what they think something like that could be built for.

I am thinking about switching from Avail to TenantCloud for my one property in Indiana, and I 'd like to know what others think of it.
