@Kenneth Hynes By long term, I mean 10+ years. 2-5 years tenant, I understand, because they either have to relocate due to their job or they just simply are not ready to settle down.

All the married E-6s need places for their families, all the single E-4s need ridiculous tattoos, meaning the new tattoo artists in town need places to live, oh look a zillion barber jobs just got created, restaurant workers, civilian staff for the base, et cetera.I wasn't smart enough to have been in RE while still in, so I don't know where to go to find the "Master List of Major Units Permanently Relocating To a New Base."
