Lake county because of the lake and Napa Sonoma because of proximity to SF.The original resorts were all mineral bath type resorts .. and thoroughbred ranchs and in fact even though not in Lake Co Seabiscut lived and died right up the way in Willits.

We are not reliant on any particular industry, compared to a city like Houston, with its dependence on the oil industry.

I work in the oil and gas and telecommunications industry as a geoscientist and some of my work is offshore. 

I live in Alaska where the economy is largely affected by oil prices.

This home needs a complete rehab and is heated by oil.
