I would think that by not splitting the profits to some degree would put me at issue legally (i.e. it would be a tax avoidance scheme) b/c by being the credit partner I would obviously be a partner in the deal.

I haven't noticed a big difference in pricing for the materials I need, so my loyalty is to whomever gives me at least a little discount.
