Do you support Air BNB deciding to cancel reservations for "public safety"?

Also, I feel it is a safety concern to get rent in person.

Currently in San Diego you cannot evict for lease violations unless it is a health or safety issue.  

I prefer the safety of an LLC with the 10 year.

I do think that landlords who are really negligent and create safety issues should be punished, and we do have some of those here.

's idea about deferred maintenance should be added in, it's done on reverse mortgages, where borrower can't get red tagged or have health and safety violations; but then it's a pile of money to check and balance for 30 years.

There is a separate fire marshall inspection to ensure safety won't be an issue.

Personally, my pace has changed, and I’ve lived through the highs and lows of being a landlord, and for me, I now value safety, peace, and time to do other things that fall out of the scope of actively managing real estate.

Decide what you are comfortable with in terms of a safety net (my safety net is my cashflow every month), and then go looking for deals that meet your criteria.
