Hi everyone,I have a property in California that my mother was living in.

The home is currently owned by my mother and I am buying it for a great price. 

Househacking has been with me since birth, as my parents bought a primary dwelling with a mother-in-law in the basement.

The realtor (a friend of my mother's) did give me the "you signed a contract" speach.

I have a mother in law apartment behind the house that I currently rent for $900 per month which has paid for most of the repairs on the home so I'm not going to include those costs in the scenario.  

We moved from Omaha to Idaho Falls, ID in 2015 to help care for my mother who suffers from MS.

Having a mother who is not computer savvy, I can sympathize with this tenant.

If you learn one thing from each book or article you read, it's worth it.That being said, here comes the mother in me.
