Without selling, I want to tap into some of it for investing purposes, but I've got the good old favorite DTI hurdle that's preventing me from more easily accessing it from a conventional lender (I checked with a credit union already).

They recently completed a new road to access Nanticoke called the South Valley Parkway.

With regard to paying people to stand around, my thinking is to start with a part time employee with the intent of within a moderate amount of time ramping it up to a full time employee and perhaps 1-2 additional part time employees.

And if we can gain access to the equity via a LOC then it kind of serves the same purpose as what I was attempting to do by putting a 30 year on it.  

It is all based on the premise that people will always need a place to live, a house, a condo, an apartment, whatever.

Single family homes, duplexes, and 3-4 family, and apartment buildings.

I am currently dealing with a 3 unit apartment in a C- neighborhood.

I keep going back and forth on a small apartment complex in Westport, and my biggest hurdle seems to be a lack of seemingly reliable prop mgmt in that area.

The goal would be to Airbnb the place out so that we can cash flow more than would be possible with a long-term rental, and so that we would have access to the home for ourselves when desired.
