Brand new to this website, and am looking to get into investing within the next year or two with my husband.

I recently completed construction on a brand new home (1700 sf) 3 br, 2.5 ba house and want to rent it out.  

I put low repairs since EVERYTHING is brand new (with two years of warranty) and on top of that I've Home Warranty (I pay $33 pm, and tenant is responsible for Service call fees)- I think, I put 8% vacancy rate which is very reasonable.

I am brand new to the RE investing business and just about to begin the plunge, head first into flipping here in Atlanta.

Any of the major brands are decent; go to the store and see which one feels right to you.  

There are many brands and sizes so the actual cost will depend on the sized of your house and how many units and heads are needed. 

There are only two serious crowdfunding platforms in Canada for Real Estate right now, but both of them are focusing on prime lending opportunities, because they feel that if a project they raise funds for now, goes bad, then it would kill their brand.

Our concern with traditional financing is that we will be a brand new company with only our individual assets, the time required to actually get the funds and the high rates involved with it being a company and not an individual.

He hasn't been out there as long as some of the better known brands, so that might explain it.

I'm not familiar with that term, is it a brand?
