We are purchasing land in OBX and have a great builder lined up to build us what should be a tremendous rental property.

Can I write off BOTH the moving truck that I will hire AND my entire cross-country road trip (hotels, meals, supplies, etc.) to get my car there?

I am not a fan of selling anything once it has been purchased and stabilized- but that’s just me. 

What purchase price range is the property? 

Hoping for some advice here.I purchased my first 2 unit Oct 22 and currently occupy the 1st unit duplex as my primary home.

And yet another, recording a memoradum of purchase agreement to cloud title and then not releasing the memorandum in order to hold the property hostage for a fee, is a serious legal issue.And another, signing a purchase and sale agreement without the intent or ability to close, is fraud.

Many lenders offer up to 85% on investor financing for a 1-4 unit purchase transaction. 

What price point would you be targeting for this purchase?

I am hoping to pull pull out the cash from the home to make a large purchase.
