Same for me as of right now, but I noticed that over this past year, the bookings are shifting more to VRBO....

From a personal financial perspective, you are not gaining any equity and are paying someone else’s mortgage for them by renting (assuming you are if I read that correctly). 

The first plan was fine but I shifted once I saw another opportunity that better fit what I wanted to achieve. :)

Sanchez I would listen to a couple hundred podcasts and read a couple books and I think your “plan” may shift a couple times but you will get a much better understanding of the pros and cons of each type of investing and will have more knowledge to avoid needing to ask “what should I do”.

I personally have seen a shift in the Airbnb market in my area and for me, it’s time to breakout and target people who want a guest experience vs.

I come from the rental market perspective as I work for a full service property management company.  

The unexpected happening..........From a real estate agent perspective you would have a hard time selling it as an illegal duplex.

Post it for rent and by default any responses you get allow some insight into a perspective tenant's lifestyle before you even respond.
