Does the property need to be zoned as a multi unit property? 

I would love to house back in one of these areas, but I do not come across many multi family units...

@Dan Bryskin, yes, freeing up the VA Loan will help me get into a multi fam in San Diego, which is normally very hard to do (20% of $700k traditional vs 0% down for the same with VA Loan).

Hello everyone,So are the 30 year rental loans at decent rates advertised by companies such as Lima One or Lending One actually 30 year loans or are they really 5 year terms with a 30 year amortization?   

I would like to begin branching out into multi/single family homes this year for buy and hold cashflow model.

I have vetted a PM team in the same city as my other SFR rentals, who can handle the added work associated with multi-family complexes.

Hello Everyone,I am absolutely fascinated with multi-family real estate, specifically the idea of converting inactive hotels/motels into affordable living spaces to buy and hold.

So being a vet if you were trying to maximize your unique benefits I'd say buy a multi family house (2-4) units and live in one unit and rent out the others.

I have a single family home so I know what the insurance is on that but I was hoping that somebody can tell me what it would be for a multi unit?
