Should I take out equity in the home towards a crash pad and/or doing some minor upgrades on the home OR should I save up to get into air BNB arbitrage to increase my money flow and put that towards fixing the home and eventually obtaining a crash pad.

Difference this time for me is hard money and wholesalers, it has been interesting. 

Also, for those dealing with an HOA, make sure you put the right HOA contact in contact with the title company.

When you do it yourself it will require more time from you and also in slow seasons you might not make much money.

So seems to be a lot of confusion out there of what the recent fed's 50bps means for the economy and borrowing money for investing.

I do know, through other investors, that Orlando is a little oversaturated with STR hence if you want a good performing property, you really need to make it stand out.

I forget which (Champaign or Urbana), but one is very restrictive on STRs...just make sure you are aware of zoning and restrictions. 

It shouldn't be too much money to get it cleaned out.
