I wanted to use a 203k loan but have been told that it doesn’t qualify because it’s two separate houses. 

I had no idea it would be so difficult get apply for a license for shared-housing.

I was considering going into real estate investing because I would like to cut out the middle man ( the broker that is) lol and have some diversity with my license, not just helping people buy and sell houses.

The lot was purchased cash and the house will be built cash as well.
