Malls are closing, department stores are filing for bankruptcy, and small stores can't compete with the selection, prices and convenience of Amazon.  

I’m leaning towards renting it out. 

I was leaning towards multifamily in that regard just because of spreading the risk and economies of scale.

After reading your response along with others I'm leaning more towards staying in a location that's easier for me to manage in case of any property management Issues.

Also door codes are sent to you in seconds after requests you may requests at anytime any day and be there conveniently with your GC....... just a few things that makes your life easier but again if you have a close friend or family that is willing to do all that then no point of getting a license .

I lean on the side of "its my home, I'm going to spend a little extra to make me happy", but that works for me and not for everyone :-)
