Currently I am interested in potentially moving into the real estate industry to work as a real estate analyst so that I can make connections, learn the business, and learn to evaluate real estate for good deals.

I have a property that could be used as a private residence and is zoned industrial.

Industry standard is for liability limits to be $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 per policy year.

I have also started a career in the mortgage industry as a loan officer.

There's numerous industrial and chemial plants several miles away and a lot of workers are from out of state getting paid great money and are willing to pay a bit more or split to have a nicer place than some of the basic trailers they usually set them up in.

Hi BP,Yes the news these days is tough to keep up with and comprehend with all the various legislative orders and changes going on - I'm not trying to start any political discussions here, so I ask everyone to weigh in respectfully.That said, I'm wondering if any BP members and those that invest in real estate in Texas are keeping a close eye on potential impacts this "wall" may have on the local real estate industry there.

From what I have experienced so far, it is definitely a "all about who you know" type of industry.

This can be a fun (although tough) industry, but you will have to educate yourself and network with a team of experienced professionals.
