It's really hard to rent a big nice airbnb that has a bathroom that doesnt work or every 3-4 stays the sewer line will back up into the tub.

@Kayla Johnson Plumbing will only be the one bathroom and the kitchen but it’s possible trees got in the lines outside and my mom just got a $10,000 estimate to repair one section of her sewer lines to one section of her house due to trees.

However, one of the additional bedrooms has a working bathroom vanity with sink installed; worse yet, it is on carpet.

If you have lower interest debt, I’m all for buying a good investment property vs paying it off…it’s essentially just additional leverage for cash.

@Kian Faramarzi Knowing what I know now if I had not been on the trajectory I was on when I was 21, which was that I owned a Bed and Breakfast, so was essentially house hacking altogether a little unconventionally, I would tell my college graduated self to buy a 4-unit on an FHA loan and house hack and save up and rinse and repeat and today I’d have a small real estate empire.
