Second home loans are great, but they are best for high-income W2 employees looking for a vacation home, not really for investors looking to scale.

The bank account verification allows me to accept 1099 workers , business owners, and side income verification with a high level of confidence.

Since it is remote, I can alter if there's a good reason to do so - over the winter I had to unlock the bottom end because the guests were too hot at 72 degrees (they were running the heat) and the thermostat doesn't have different set points for heat and AC.

They were actually doing a good job paying on the biweekly schedule and as long as I was made whole by the end of the month I was totally fine with it. 

On the other end of the spectrum, when there's something I don't know, I am not ashamed to ask a man for input and gain the benefit of his experience and talent.

I ended up doing the work myself on this project but I will have it done in May and be looking for a new investment.
