From my conversations with a lender, it seems like I am in the clear after the 3 year period for payback of the DPA grant, and MCC is not tested again after closing, so as long as I live in the property I can keep using the 2,000 tax credit.

A consult your advisors clause in an offer letter might help you avoid legal repercussions but the decision to move forward with a deal or not should face a more stringent test than, "Will I get sued and/or prosecuted".I don't think you should automatically proceed because someone appears to have their wits about them.

I finished the first 30 hour course and passed the test, but I don't feel I was as prepared for the test as I should have been, and I don't see how I will remember much of the information for the state exam after doing the other 5 30 hour courses.The online school I am using said I do not need any books and suggested not taking notes.

Info on CRD's: A Coronavirus-Related Distribution (CRD) of up to $100,000 in the aggregate for any taxable year may be made from all retirement plans in which an individual participates (IRA, QP, 403(b), or governmental 457(b)), if applicable.A Coronavirus-Related Distribution (CRD) is a distribution made on or after 1/1/2020 and before 12/31/2020 to an individual:•Who is diagnosed with COVID-19 or SARS-CoV-2 by a test approved by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention;•Whose spouse or dependent is diagnosed with COVID-19 or SARS-CoV-2;•Who experienced an adverse financial consequence as a result of being quarantined, furloughed or laid off, or having work hours reduced due to COVID-19 or SARS-CoV-2; or•Any other factors determined by IRS/Treasury.If a CRD is taken by an individual, they will include the amount received into income, spread ratably over a 3-year period.
