In this case, the owner walked away, the home was foreclosed, and I bought it.In my case, after purchasing, the fees that had accumulated over 3 years were waived once I (A) submitted plans for a permit to resolve it and (B) did the work and (C) finalled all 3 permits I had to pull.Doing the work under a code compliance case was terrible and I'd prefer to never have to do that again, but that's the price of opportunity.No idea how your city works, but that was my experience.

Dixon, a friend and fellow investor, applied for a loan after getting a referral from a fellow investor, (I'd love to name that very terrible lender) his credit score upper 800, his net worth is $8 MM, his annual rent is $764,000 annually, supplied a credit application, tax returns and all requested docs --- calls, text and email to this clown without a response, three weeks later contact was made, mortgage broker had no excuse for his terrible service.

:) I'm not terribly familiar with Denver but we normally eat at Watercourse or Native Foods... both vegan restaurants with (what I think is) wonderful food (not just salad).
