I am conflicted on what is best as I see good and bad to doing either.In park name - easier to manage administrative work, ensure taxes are paid, easier to recover if owner walks away or quits paying park rentIn buyer name - they pay taxes, if home is damaged would seem to limit park's responsibility, no insurance costIf value of the homes is an issue, the mobiles in question are of low value $2-10K ea.Again, looking for the industry best practices on this.Thanks!

There has long been a debate in the industry about the differences in cabinetry that are manufactured from plywood or from pressed wood.

The area is industrial with the Amazon distribution center, the local power company’s main headquarters, rock quarry, and a new pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in the works, all within a mile or 2 and 2 major interstates.

Some people may balk at the idea of notes being a learn by doing business, but this is precisely why most of these assets are sold at cents on the dollar.My company and I will be releasing an E-book by the end of the year that goes into much more detail on the purchase process, exit strategies, and the note industry in general.

Telling me things that are negative about the industry all the way to telling me that it's illegal.

As for the question about oil prices, I would agree with @Richard Spooner that Houston will not suffer this downturn as much as it did in the 80's due to so much more diversity in the types of industry that are now supporting the region.

I'm new to real estate investing however, I know my way around construction sites as I have been in the industry for over 20 years.

Currently work as a Project Engineer with a commercial development company (retail and multi-family apartments).

I work in the insurance industry presently.
