As far as a budget goes I am more concerned with return, so I would give a wide range thinking $70,000- $220,000Just being new to DFW (coming from Arkansas) is a bit overwhelming with there being so many areas and neighborhoods.

There will be a big difference with the financing available depending on the property type you're looking at and the price range.

We are looking at properties in the $250k-300k range.

Bought a 3 bed 2 baths 1400 sq home in Enterprise AL for 97k and ARV should be roughly in the 130-140 range.

They asked the price range.

I would put 25% down and purchase 2-3 properties in the 100K range.

I imagine you also have a price range, there's a third filter.

You can get a rate in the 3% range with 3.5% down. 

LA architects advised to use range $225-$250/sq. ft. for above ground construction cost estimate.
