@Jo Zhou These sort of zoning-related oddities in our City is my niche - I've purchased, renovated, re-permitted, re-zoned, varianced (that's not a word, but it works here), and dealt with code compliance ... there's a lot of different interactions between various city and county departments to understand.

After multiple podcasts where Josh has been mentioning people who just create profiles and lurk, I decided to take the plunge with interacting and here is my introduction post.Right now, I am facing the challenges of getting mortgages (past the 4 in my name).. in addition to lower loan amounts (<50k for the paid off house) or seasoning requirements.

@Brady MillerA Solo 401k could not interact in any way with a Company B/lending entity if you are involved personally with, funding, or receiving compensation from Company B.The Solo 401k could basically be company B, with no need to form a company.

Can't stress enough how these types of deals are fostered and based on your banker going to bat for you at loan committee.And especially in todays lending world.. both of the commercial banks I use one in Oregon and one in Charleston they are very upfront with the fact that they are not looking for just anyone.. they want to take the known performers and super size them...
