I don't have enough money or good enough credit to buy a house out in norcal, but I do in MI where my hubby was born.

I sometimes fall into the trap of thinking there is only one way to solve a problem, but money is not always the answer.

The last thing you want to hear on the news is that your tenant was trapped in a basement and died while the house was on fire.

The exception would be finding multiple homes at a great price that you can have moved at an excellent rate.In my experience setting a firm goal like tripling that quickly might lead you into the "gotta do this deal" trap.
