Self directed IRA & 401k plans are about having different choices to diversify your retirement savings into alternatives such as real estate - but that retirement savings is very much bundled up in the tax code so as to be reserved for your post 59 1/2 future.  

I was so "into it" that I registered and started an investment club - the Boise Stock Exchange, where I taught my techniques to others (for free - it was a meetup group).I was met with skepticism from other traders, simply because they had; never traded futures, had heard horror stories about trading futures, knew nothing about how to trade futures, and could not fathom the amount of risk I was taking or the leverage ratio I was employing.  

Actually I am going to expound on this in my marketing technique post, but here goes.  

Generating your own leads is the best way to ensure success.I recommend beginning with a marketing technique that you like, understand and can afford to implement comfortably.  

Yes, legal, accounting and tax fees feel like a painful waste of money...but the alternative is much worse. 

I did all my training in the 70's to mid 80's  after that my skills were set.. all though you need to tune them up..And with the internet and smart phones and such I am sure there are many new techniques that we never were taught..

On the bright side, getting older sure beats the alternative. :)

Do you have a balance of different marketing techniques or use multiple techniques?

You should call your pest control company again & tell to trap them otherwise hire another but before hiring got to know their treatment techniques.

Partnerships would be an alternative where you put up the cash so you won't have to put up the time.
