I’m also hosting an event called the MidAtlantic Summit in my hometown of Philadelphia (with a lot of familiar faces from the site speaking and in attendance).

@Megan Davidson I don't like most people yet I have hundreds of 5 star reviews and maintain super host status.Another way to get 5 star reviews is to like 5 star reviews :) Ok so I like some people.

Also, I’m hosting free a first time homebuyers seminar tomorrow in Cherry Hill from 7-9pm.

Lessons Learned:-Be extremely selective as to the location of the property (I took on some regrettable properties when I first started)-If you are self-managing, be prepared to make a lifestyle change with multiple units-Educate yourself as much as possible before you start hosting so you don't make costly mistakes. 

I host my monthly RE meetup group tonight so I can't dial in.I understand IRAs and 401ks and I have done buy and hold rentals with solo 401ks, 401k loans, partnered with others in IRA's, etc.

@Jack Medford I am not getting a reply from the meeting hosts with information about this "Slack" account thing, did you have to do it/can i attend without it?

My 1st experience was so difficult and I wasted a lot of money on crazy contractors, misguided laborers and just an entire host of mistakes.

There are many TK companies that host weekend seminars to get to know them.
