The business hypes the houses as state of the art, energy efficient dwellings that can be leased, oh heck, for more than market rents because there won't be high utility bills. 

Since I have 11 rental properties I have 3 different maintenance people with different skill sets.

Imagine what leveraging a similar skill-set from within a commercial realty brokerage that specializes in investment properties, and has a large database of potential buyers and sellers, might do for you.

I would definitely recommend becoming a Realtor if you have the skill set.

If RE investors can hone just one skill, it would be the ability to recognize where we are in the cycle and move accordingly.

So, as I learn to take it slow and gain my knowledge, I'm interested in what skills it takes be successful at this.

Those who lack foundational (the ability to read and write at a high school level) or social skills are also the first to take offense to the fact that I "discriminate" against them... because I'm unwilling to risk my money on them.  

So, I am up to three calls that led no where other than developing my screening skills.
