Besides, two of the attorneys told us that while we may win a civil suit against him, it's only a piece of paper and we will probably have trouble collecting any money.On attorney told us specifically NOT to contact the District Attorney because the DA is only interested in shutting this guy down, not getting our money back and it would only lock up his assets.We don't know who to believe or what to do.

A good agent opens the door & shuts up.

One of my concerns is the time frame - tenants have vacated, water and electric will be shut off during upcoming winter months - could be repairs needed.

(I don't think people really know what Federal Bank Examiners do...be that as it may) And I'm not advocating cheating them, I'm advocating kepping your mouth shut, sticking to your guns as your right to conduct business, to structure your transactions to the letter of the law and in such a manner as there can be no claim made, or at least won't be successful.

Those, including yourself who I know for a fact that are experiencing the same thing seem to have their mouth shut regarding this.

Two big ones were needing to have termite work in the garage (a days worth and a few hundred in materials), a termite treatment, some shut offs to replace, one reverse wired outlet (my fault) a sticking door and some other smaller items.

Anything with *guarantee* in it is begging to get you shut down too.Gotta run...
