When others explain they should become an agent or a broker the soon to be wholesaler scoffs at the idea because they want to invest for themselves, not become a slave to the industry.Sorry to break it to all of you folks out there who drank the wholesaling koolaid but all a wholesaler is, "is a poor mans version of a broker/agent."

I would recommend "The Weekend Millionaire’s Real Estate Investing Program CDs" (audio book version) by Mike Summey and Roger Dawson and then follow up with their FAQ book as well - good stuff especially if your on the conservative side of real estate investing -- Best of luck in your adventure!
