Not only does the scheduling of a second appraisal add to closing timeline, typically, but my deal fell apart because the second appraisal came in 20% below the initial appraisal.I have talked with several flipper friends that have stated similar scenarios of the first appraisal coming back fine and the second coming in short, but this is not always the case.
