@Robert P. thank you for that info about how it is done in Mass  i will look into that info for NY@Matthew Paul i purchased the property for cash, so as far as not having income i will not have a mortgage to pay for, the reason money is tight right now is because i had to pay school taxes right after closing, and then spent $17000 on a roof the first month.

Shelly Tice said that she will contact the county again and that I should receive my price quote in about two weeks and that they send them out on Fridays.

Lots of "deals" are popping up on multiple websites but you need to very careful of the info posted.

Tell them you will pay them cash for a quick close.When you do all that, then contact a local RE Agent to give you a list of all the houses in that neighborhood that have sold in the last 5 years with all cash.
