I had a new PML ask me about the difference between a Loss Payee and a Mortgagee so I thought I would share some commentary from my insurance agent partner on the subject: Quick point of reference between the difference between Loss Payee and Mortgagee:Mortgagee: the Lending company/entity that lends the money for the propertyLoss Payee: an entity or party that has an insurable interest of said property.

I'd prefer to go somewhere that I can build a long term relationship with a reliable agent/broker and property manager.  

I've talked to a few real estate agents to get an idea of the landscape in Austin.

I am a licensed real estate agent in Arizona (currently with eXp) and also own a couple of vacation rentals in Scottsdale that I manage myself.

However, I had an agent who I trusted intimately and who stayed with me the whole time, and frankly, did more than she should have done to help me out.I wouldn't recommend anyone do what I did though. 

Get a commercial agent not a residential one to tell you what your warehouse space market rents.

@Dionne Ladson, if you also need some more leads on done fix in flips, Proscope works directly with some larger wholesalers and agents that deal mainly in that field.
