My Partner has flipped a couple of houses and has made a decent profit.

Unfortunately this has ramped up over the last few years and deals are definitely getting tighter, still lots of room for profit, but you gotta move diligently when you find something good.

We feel that controlling as many aspects of the business in house will allow us to generate larger profits, and have all the separate arms of the business work together, feeding each other and creating a synergy.Trying to figure out how to explain that to my wife and small children (LOL).

I’m leaning towards selling it and reinvesting my profits into a multifamily but was hoping to get some opinions from people with more knowledge in this area.

Talk to a local real estate attorney to see if it's worth the cost and aggravation of pursuing it. 

Obviously in our case he brings the experience and will get most of the profits - I am a 'Limited Partner' that just helps with financing, but I also want to make sure that I have the rights to the building.Thanks!

You really need to be full-time as an agent to make it work -- and actually be profitable, especially as a newbie.

@Michael Lear I would pursue them for the full cost of removal due to gross negligence on their part.

We are planning to split profits 50/50.
