Since I assume you aren't in the business, have them go thru a loan officer to pull credit to see how long it will take for finance and of course look at debt to income.

i don't know the Fl market but you could try going to your local REI meeting and talking to the buyers there and see what they're specifically looking for. or talk to your realtor and have him/her pull a list of recent cash buyers and contact them to see if they want more properties in the area.

I figured I could possibly convert the upstairs 2 bdrm into a 3bdrm (1800 sq ft should allow for 3 bdrms), and the downstairs into a couple of 1,500 sq ft 3 bdrm units - provided the layout works.Im just wondering if anybody knows more about multi-use zoning rules and/or what my chances might be to pull something like this off.
