The plan is to convert the commercial space (currently 1 of the 4 units) to a residential unit, which I've already cleared with the city permit/inspections office and have spoken with an architect regarding the process.

Despite the fact that San Jose it super friendly to ADUs, it took over 7 months of back and forth before the city finally approved my ADU permit.

We have a different system, where prospective tenants can self schedule showings, but we have a number of people on call to actually meet them at the property to show it.
