your best bet is check with a lawyer or a company that specializes in that...honestly im not sure if its a like or kind assets since your going from residential to commercial

@Mike Dymski I agree with your take that syndication opportunities allow you to invest in these asset classes with your work being on the validation of the operator. 

Take this number and divide it by the cap rate for that asset class in that area usually .05-.08.

As I understand it, somehow the title of the company passes through the LLC then stays in the REPT and no one is supposed to know what assets I own??? 

I'm learning that I may need to increase rents to a minimum of $500/door because the lower the rents the lower my net income when expenses are still about the same across high end and low end asset classes.

Asset value is 2x that of the relinquished property.This all came together at 3pm EST and spent and hour and a half on the phone with my lender and never got around to calling my QI.
