@Aaron Mills (sorry it won't tag on my mobile)Getting your money back on a refinance would mean that you would at least get your original money back (70%), meaning the property still has equity when sold or cash flow after the refinance.

The holes for the old stuff may not be big enough for PEX but that should be easy to figure out.I just redid a mobile with PEX and it went quite smoothly after we got the hang of it.

I know it stings the wallet a bit, but if it were me I would wait and choose my own tenant, especially since you are living in the building.They may fill the unit on their own- sales don't always proceed, and aren't always on schedule.
