I have joined a couple but they seem to only meetup on the internet.

This is BEFORE INTERNET SEARCH.We met our broker, my friend today ;p She took us around, We only had 1 wk to find a house before my mom left.We had an amazing broker that listened to our needs.

I heard about this site through my son, who is into internet marketing and would someday like to become an investor.My real estate goals are to become the best at what I do and be as knowledgeable as I can be, to help as many people as possible with their real estate needs!

If you do things on the internet you'll be advertising to people all over the planet.  

Yet, I find wholesalers sending me over houses that look great, until I do a 10 minute search on the internet and find out 80% of the information in the "ad" is garbage!  

I only know Waterbury in a broad-brush way but would caution you not to be star-struck by the prices.

So I am an Internet Marketer who hit it fairly big with a website.

I have learned some really great information and have seen the power of their proprietary software "property Farm" which they say gives you information on real estate gathered fro many different sources and puts information in front of you without having to spend hours hunting around the Internet in places that are difficult to get info from.

I am sure there are some here on BP that owe it all to BP.. but just as many or more owe it to who ever they paid to get them off their butt and get going.. if that cost you 1k for Ben's course or a little more for a year of hands on training by someone like Brian or you paid 40k for a national brand training it is that step that made most take the next step.Along with the I want it now attitude of our current brand of RE investor and the age of the internet getting in front of people and enticing them with the idea that RE is the way to rich's and quit their job and spend time with the kiddos etc.
