Driving for dollars.

@Scott Trench  When bending over, I just ask for vaseline....Seriously it drives me crazy, we are young , healthy,  pay a fortune in premiums.  

Welcome, driving for dollar is a good way to start looking for properties in a competitive environment or finding other lists that are difficult to get- eviction, tax del, code violations, etc.

The fact that a lot of small time landlords own the majority of the stock is a problem and an opportunity at the same time - everyone wants to buy one (which drives prices up) and there are some sellers that don't know what they are doing. 

Think I'll drive by some of the lower priced ones to try discerning reason for the price difference.

Hello All, So Tuesday night i decided to drive out to one of my local real estate investing meetups.

Give the tenant a safe comfortable place to live and fix things promptly .

I listened to them all (and all of the BP podcasts) by not listening to music during my drive - podcasts or audible only.

I need to be able to drive to the property and in my area the purchase price alone for a property could be 200k or more.   

Texas, is definitely not a quick drive for me and I would rather not have to fly every time I want to buy there.
