The 1% rule is still very achievable in DFW if you look in the right places and stick to the C to C+ and B- suburb areas.  

But it is more for name recognition than for being catchy or cool.

I signed up a year ago and must say, My periodic visits to this site over the past year have really kept me focused on getting my financial ducks in a row and finally achieving my long time goal of owning a multifamily property and starting a portfolio of buy and holds.
