I will pop 1 to 4 deals a year from newbie agents bringing me killer deals on a platter IE they don't know what to do with them and I have a reputation of buying said deals... :)

A lot of the turn-key property management firms you can find through BP have solid reputations and a long history of working with remote investors, including foreigners such as Australians who see our rental markets in places like Atlanta, Memphis and Texas as superior to their local options.  

Dear BP Community - Could someone recommend a reputable Property Management company in Indianapolis?  

Joshua D. is right that its reputation will improve slowly over time. 

Furthermore it builds your reputation and gives you credibility such that investors would want to put money with you in the future. 

I feel like real estate investors always have a bad reputation, but the lenders are the ones that really screw everyone.

So you Newbies will be the beneficiary of all I can teach you, tell you or write to you about what has kept me at or near #1 in reputation out of some 60 places to lease in our area. 

I just got through a bunch of Joe McCall's material on wholesaling lease options (he is one of the least shady/sales-y real estate "gurus" I've heard and has a solid ethical reputation according to my research...Anyway, I am thinking of starting this process in the DC/MD/VA area (specifically Maryland). 

I plan on making my company, NIT Realty, a reputable force to be reckoned with in the real estate investing niche that will be around for years to come.
