Hello, i heard somewhere that when remodeling a rental house i should try to keep everything basic as many people have different taste as far as color and design.

Now if the current tenants live very rough then I wouldn't put them in a new remodel I would just raise the rent allowable by law.

I'm looking to remodel our masterbathroom, install a new oven, and swap our electric range with a gas one (yes the property has gas).This is our personal home in a 400k-ish price range so wanting it to be nice but not trying to pay $30,000 for a bathroom either. 

Looking at offering $400k on nice 5plex, remodeled 2017.

The property definitely has some updating and remodeling that needs to be done and from the pictures it looks like the tenants have a slight hoarding problem.

Removed 2 non-paying tenants and redid the landscaping and remodeled the units.
