That is my business model, doesn't work for a lot of people but has done me quite well so far.  

There currently are no true buy-and-hold crowdfunding marketplaces (although there are a few, such as Home Union, that are trying to do something close to this model).

And I know how to report brokering without a license in Connecticut as well as anywhere else.If one finds that his business model requires intentionally misleading people, perhaps one ought to find a new business model.

Your domain caught my eye (very catchy). congrats on your successful business model, looks like you're helping connect a lot of REI's with the right people. 

The idea is to get away from variable pricing such as billing per hour or billing per "journal entry" and move more toward a client centric, value add focused pricing model.

I worry that it's not a sustainable model.

This is not judgement on Silverwood's business model, just an objective statement.  

The industry will eventually find a model that allows pretty much anyone not on the OFAC crap list to invest; including foreigners.
