Just a couple of ideas.....one is the house you buy to live in is not necessarily the one that is a prime rental in the future.   

Now, the whole property management game, yeah that's a different story.

The area this home was in is in a neighborhood that our last purchase occurred so our familiarity brought comfort to the rental aspect.

Account Closed I'm new to this game and have basically zero experience, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night so....I've been doing a bunch of research on the long term population and economic trends of all the major metro areas and I have to say that Raleigh's profile is stellar.

Admittedly, I didn't do as much research or reading as I should have before I jumped in. I

My theory is because the authors have been in the game for so long, they forget what it is like to actually be starting out.

It's all a numbers game, you need to figure out about how many cold calls, RVMs, Texts, Bandit signs, etc it takes to get a lead.

I think this is going to be a game changer, as with these rates, it is not possible for an average Airbnb operator to make money.
