I would really be excited if this was in my neck of the woods.  

The former is far more common overseas than here in the US and many may be unfamiliar with this window type.I'm guessing that you're after a window treatment you want to install on existing T&T windows... but clarity of nomenclature will help tremendously.If my assumption is correct, are you after wood window blinds or are you considering other options?  

I call it the "Jed Clampett" house because it looks like his house before he moved to Beverly Hills or the cabin in the woods in the movie, "Doc Hollywood".

I don't want higher insurance premiums and haven't had good luck with dogs in the past.  

I'm going to see tomorrow if I can use steel wool to salvage some solid wood oak cabinets that are not in bad condition.

Also wondering about the flooring...looks like you did an engineered wood or laminate throughout.  

Instead of ripping all the crooked pieces of wall and wood and trimmings out, I should leave them.The floors are just planks which I thought was hideous... but leaving them in would actually add "value" no?

Risk premium is cap rate subtracted by the 10 yr t bond.  

And not all LVT's are out of the woods either.  

But if you have hard wood, tile or linoleum floors it is a lot easier to clean up.
