Maybe i need to educate myself and ask my lenders more questions

Even though I have been educating myself since 2009 by reading books and blogs, watching webinars and tv shows, listening to podcasts and having hands on experience in the RE world (I co-own a reno company and am a mortgage loan officer (as well as a personal finances advisor)), I believe that we should never stop learning and sharpening our skills. 

Many of these gurus charge $40K for a few weeks of education.  

I have been doing a lot of education on your programs and how you do your lease options.  

Get some books and start your REAL education ;)  What an amazing world to be a part of.

Jay, I say this with a desire to educate, so please interpret it with that in mind...

I went to school back in 2009 and became a certified computer repair technician in hopes of using it as a stepping stone to go back to school and formally get the education I didn't get because I didn't see the value of school then.  

I found some of his "advisor" series books to be pretty good, though mostly not written by Kiyosaki himself.  

VA Loan- they have a rule that they don't count GI Bill education pymnts which has us losing a chunk of our income and puts us under the 35% debt to income ratio.
